Backwoods Deception
Little red riding hood and her family are going through some very hard times have and do not enough money to make ends meet. Little red riding hood and her parents decide to send little red riding hood to see her ill grandmother to see how long it will be before she dies so they can all collect their inheritance.
Little riding hood sets off through the woods to her grandmothers’ cottage. Along the way little red riding hood runs into a wolf that is well known in the forest because he will do anything for money. Little red riding hood proposes to the wolf that if he kills the grandmother and makes it look like the grandmother died from natural causes she will give him a share of the inheritance. The wolf agrees and tells little red riding hood to give him two hours and he will have the job done.
When the wolf arrives at the grandmother’s cottage, he looks in the window and sees that she is sleeping. The wolf decides to crawl in through the window, and as he is doing so, the grandmother wakes up and sees the wolf trying to break into her cottage. The grandmother starts to scream and grabs a lamp to try and protect herself from the wolf. A nearby woodsman hears a woman scream and decides to investigate. When he arrives at the cottage he sees the wolf attacking the grandmother. The woodsman steps in to save the grandmother and pins the wolf down. The wolf, fearing for his life, confesses that he was hired by little red riding hood to kill the grandmother.
When little red riding hood arrives at the grandmothers cottage she is shocked at what she sees: the police, the woodsmen, and the grandmother all waiting for her. The police arrest little red riding hood and the wolf for attempted murder.
The woodsman. seeing how sick and ill the grandmother is, takes pity on her and decides to move in with her and take care of her because he knows that her own family will not take care of her properly. Ironically, the grandmother dies in her sleep two nights later leaving the woodsman a handsome inheritance.
