Final Skateboard!!!!

Finally finished my skateboard didn't think this day would ever come! But i'm really pleased with the outcome of my final board it wasn't my original concept but i think it turned out really well.

I finished the layout for my skateboard, my original concept was to do a 50's style pin-up girl lying down in a bed of daisies. Although once i completed my girl she was more of a dominatrix than a 50's pin-up girl so i have to re-think the backgrounds for my skateboard.

I decided to stick to my idea of the 50's pin-up girl, so far I've started drawing the girl that i will lay out on my board in illustrator, this is how far i have got.

I still have quite a bit to do, I plan on adding a knife into her hand and some other details as well I'm still considering the background for the skateboard.

Skateboard Concept

The concept that I have come up with for my skateboard will be a Vargas pin-up girl lying on the board wearing a 1950's themed bikini. The background will be a sort of pastel color, either mint or a light pink with flowers coming from both ends of the board towards her. The writing that's required will be outlining her body. This idea is very rough and is likely to change the further along I get into the project.
