Poster Backstory

Dominazione is a very small underground skateboarding company, no one is quite sure when or where it was first established, those details are only given to the selected few and if leak that kind of information get leaked those people involved are never seen again.

Dominazione isn’t a company where you just choose to buy there skateboard, it’s more, they have undercover members always on the prowl at skate parks, shops, abandoned parking lots etc. If they like your style, your skills then you have been chosen to represent them, you don’t choose them they choose you. Once they have selected you, its not an option on whether you want to represent them it’s an honor to be asked and no one has ever said no, it’s not an option to say no. Representing Dominazione is the ultimate experience you’re with the elite. People want to be you, and they will do anything for you, things just happen for you. The deck they provide for you is 100% Canadian Maple with a custom name and design that’s picked by them for you, you’ll never see anyone else with that board, and if anyone tries to re create your board, that person will never skate again. However its not all glitz and glamour, once you represent us it affects every aspect of your life, and there is no leaving, Dominazione considers that quitting and that’s not something they stand for. Members who have been caught using other skate companies’ equipment or tried to break off communications with the company vanish and are never seen again. It’s a serious commitment that Dominazione asks of you but to some it’s worth it, and other might not know what they’re getting themselves into.

Skateboard poseter - Brainstorming

the final project we were aked to create a poster using the skateboard we made last semester, my skateboard ended up having a very dominatrix, vixen sort of them to it so for my poster i want to continue that sort of dark theme, but not in the same way.

What i really like about my skateboard was the kind of how alluring and dangerous this "vixen" looks all at once I really want to play up on the dangerous part of that for my skateboard..

These are some of the aspects of my that i want to incorporate into my final poster.
